Keck & Wood is proud to welcome Tracy Rye, AICP to Keck & Wood’s Community Development Practice!

With 20+ years of city operational experience including Community Development & Planning Director, and Assistant City Manager, Tracy has been instrumental in leading the zoning, engineering, architectural review, preservation and sustainability boards and departments.

“I have enjoyed collaborating with Tracy for years as a client, and I am very excited that her local government planning experience and insight is now available to all Keck & Wood clients,” said Sam Serio, Practice leader and VP of Community Development.

Tracy’s planning expertise has led the pathway to producing important planning instruments, such as unified development codes and ordinances, comprehensive plans, LCI studies, and other plans that build towns, grow cities, and enhance counties. To help fund growth, Tracy is also an accomplished grant writer.

About her new position as Senior Planning Manager, Tracy said: “I have always been passionate about guiding municipal growth to benefit those who live, work and play in a specific area. Now, I am excited about sharing my experience to help solve client’s issues across more towns, cities and counties.”

Tracy holds an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification, and is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology.
