Keck + Wood provided planning, landscape and civil design, permitting, and bidding services for City Park, an existing park located in the heart of Downtown York. Phase I included a splash pad, pedestrian loop trail, connection to the existing bicycle trail system, two picnic shelters, and a new parking lot. Phase II improvements will include restrooms, a playground, and a stage area.

The project involved the design of hardscapes, pedestrian circulation, and seating. Key elements included a 2,400 SF amphitheater with a stage, green room, and storage, along with two restroom buildings, one central to the park and one by an adjacent soccer field. Five new parking areas were added, existing trails were improved, and pedestrian enhancements such as benches, swings, and water fountains were incorporated.
