Asset Management

Keck + Wood provides asset management services that help municipalities track, evaluate, and plan for the upkeep of public infrastructure. We assist with inventory development, condition assessments, and data organization for roads, facilities, and related assets. Our team creates tools and reports that support maintenance planning, budgeting, and long-term decision-making. These services give agencies a clearer understanding of asset performance and help prioritize investments effectively.

Keck + Wood assisted the City of Austell in managing its 46 centerline miles of roads by preparing a report that inventories streets and assesses pavement conditions. Using RoadAI technology, a geospatial video and AI tools identified and classified pavement defects, calculating Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings and condition classifications. Based on the study results, Keck + Wood developed cost estimates for pavement preservation and rehabilitation to support effective maintenance planning.

Keck + Wood conducted a pavement evaluation for Berkeley Lake, covering approximately 10 centerline miles of roads under the city’s maintenance responsibility. Using RoadAI technology, they detected and classified pavement defects, assigning Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ratings to all roads. Based on this data, Keck + Wood developed a five-year pavement management program to repair poor-condition roads and rehabilitate fair-condition roads, preventing more expensive repairs in the future.
