SR38 / US84 Widening and Reconstruction
As the prime consultant, Keck & Wood provided the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) project management and roadway design services for 5.2 mile widening and reconstruction of state route 38 in Wayne County. Project utilized a 4-lane rural roadway with a paved flush median and a 4-lane urban roadway with 20-foot wide raised median. As Project Manager Keck & Wood coordinated the work of sub consultants for aerial topography, geotechnincal surveys, traffic study, signing and marking plans and signal design. Keck & Wood also prepared waterline and sewerline relocation plans under a separate design contract for the city of Jesup.
