Legacy Park is suited to serve the Charlotte market due to its proximity to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and the Southeast industrial corridor, making it a prime location for the client to invest. Keck & Wood collaborated with Scannell Properties on the 330-Acre Industrial Park. The overall project program includes a multi-year schedule spanned across five phases and over 2,800,000 square feet of warehouse/industrial space. Phase I consisted of a 193,750 SF rear-load warehouse and initial park infrastructure. Field work included an ALTA/ASCM boundary survey and aerial topography survey, supplemented with field run topography in areas of dense coverage, wetland survey and route surveys. Design work included design of off-site roadway improvements, internal road network, overall grading strategy, master stormwater facilities, water and sewer infrastructure, and individual site designs.
