SCAC Annual Conference Presentation

Keck & Wood, Inc.'s Rock Hill, South Carolina office has relocated to the Lowenstein Building in University Center - 300 Technology Center Way, Suite 400, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730 effective July 30th. U.S. Fish & Wildlife Fish Passage Program
Keck & Wood, Inc. recently presented at the APWA Annual Meeting about how the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Fish Passage Program can be used to replace culverts that impede the passage of aquatic species. ACEC GA Future Leaders
ACEC Georgia's Future Leaders Program partners with top industry professionals to train up-and-coming engineers on managerial skills that extend well beyond the engineering profession. The program offers training in presentation skills, networking, business development, accounting, effective marketing, risk management, communications and understanding industry-related public policy issues. Master Rain Gardener (MRG) Program
Congratulations to our Landscape Architect, Tripp Barrineau, on his Master Rain Gardener (MRG) Certification! Clemson Extension's MRG program provides the design standards and knowledge-based skill set necessary for the design and installation of rain gardens and rainwater harvesting systems. Introduce a Girl to Engineering
Introduce a Girl to Engineering is a half-day program designed to introduce upper elementary and middle school-aged girls to engineering through fun projects and activities. Keck & Wood sponsored a booth at this year's event where young ladies were able to design and build a boat or raft which could then be tested in a tub of water. Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that provides nutritionally complete meals for malnourished children around the world. Keck & Wood joined the assembly line and hand-packed specifically formulated meals for undernourished children to be shipped around the world. Way to go Team Keck & Wood - we had twice as many participants this year than last!
GT ASCE Student Luncheon
Keck & Wood, Inc. would like to thank the Georgia Tech ASCE Chapter students for being such an engaging audience during the recent Chapter Luncheon. Future City Competition
In the Future City Competition, middle school students imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future that showcase their solution to a citywide sustainability issue. The 2017-2018 theme was "The Age-Friendly City", so students were tasked with designing a futuristic city that takes into account issues faced by senior citizens, including mobility, health care, and social issues.
