Keck & Wood is seeking to add to its survey operations with an additional Survey Crew Chief and Survey Field Personnel. These individuals will be responsible for handling all survey field operations in and around the Rock Hill, SC area. Additionally the team will coordinate closely with office survey management and personnel. The candidates will also have interaction with clients in the preparation and completion of the tasks assigned. The right candidates will have the skills and ability to address the following: 

  • Topographic surveys
  • Boundary surveys
  • Design surveys
  • Construction staking
  • As-built surveys

The right skills….for your success!

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Professional Land Surveyor license preferred, but not required
  • Experience with the operation of total stations
  • Experience with the utilization of GPS receivers
  • Experience with the utilization of Robotic total stations
  • Experience with the utilization of Trimble and Carlson data collectors
  • Familiar with Robotic total stations
  • Familiar with Trimble and Carlson data collectors
  • Solid mathematical skills
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in varying climate, temperature and site conditions
  • Ability to work outside the Charlotte Metro area is preferred, but not necessary 
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug test
  • Dependable & self-motivated
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability work and coordinate in small teams 
  • Ability to embody our brand by treating clients and employees with courtesy and respect 

The selected candidates will work primarily in the field but will occasionally be required to travel to the office for coordination, training and company events.
