What You Will Do
We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Controller, this position prepares financial reports to track the Company’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities and will directly supervise 1-2 lower -level positions. Specific responsibilities include:
- Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Project Accounting and Reconciliation
- Contract Management
- Invoice preparation and coordination with Project Managers
- General Ledger Maintenance
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls
Attributes You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a minimum five (5) years of professional accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Proficient with Google Workspace applications
- Solid interpersonal and leadership skills
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize a variety of tasks under competing deadlines
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
