With the increased demand for physical space to serve the supply chain and logistics across the Southeast, Scannell Properties developed the Legacy Park West in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Their mission was to invest in two High Cube Warehouse facilities which total 558,000 square feet of Class “A” space which can be tailored for logistics or last-mile facility usage.
After surveys were completed, the Keck & Wood team collaborated with the client to develop the overall project program, building, and site needs for the 47-acre site. This collaborative effort led into site engineering and additional services to complete the project.
Keck & Wood’s design work included collaborating with the architectural team to site the facilities, the design of the internal road network for passenger parking and truck courts, extensive grading and drainage plans, a regional detention facility, off-site sewer extension, roadway improvements, landscape architecture, and the internal utilities to serve the entire development.
The result is a clean modern facility with the ability to efficiently maneuver large vehicles and equipped with enough utility and stormwater expansion capabilities for future buildings on site. Since construction, the building has been acquired by Growth Capital Partners.
