Jeff Catoe, Lancaster County Public Services Director and John Gast PE, Vice President with Keck & Wood had the opportunity to present one of Lancaster Counties premiere projects at the South Carolina Association of Counties conference this year. Jeff and John worked closely with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and Army Corps of Engineers to replace an undersized culvert along Gill’s Creek Drive in Lancaster County. The stream associated with this culvert contains critical habitat for the endangered Carolina Heelplitter making collaboration with multiple entities a necessity for successful completion of the project.
