Recreation Park Facilities Master Plan

Keck & Wood collaborated with the City of Monroe to perform a complete inventory of their eleven parks and pocket parks. The goal was to develop a list of existing amenities available to residents. From this list, the KW Team developed a series of project suggestions based on rehabilitation needs, current maintenance needs, and future amenities for consideration. This list of projects and work generated from this study has been instrumental in helping the City determine how best to utilize their capital funds based on need. The study also provided the guidelines for the new Monroe Town Center Park, designed by KW and currently under construction.
