Water + Sewer Mapping for the City of York

The City of York hired Keck + Wood to complete a RIA-funded Water and Sewer Study. The work covered mapping, financial analysis, and reporting for the City’s existing water and sewer infrastructure. Data collection was the core of the mapping work. Crews located every manhole, valve, hydrant, pump station and water tank in the system. They then compiled these assets into an ArcGIS file and gave it to the City. The file holds both location and attribute data, which the City uses for planning, expansion and sanitary sewer survey efforts.
