Rick heads the State & County Transportation Department at our Duluth, GA headquarters. By visualizing concepts and ideas – something he encourages the engineers he mentors to do – he’s able to understand how a given detailed design decision fits into the project as a whole, as well as appreciate how a single project fits into a client’s overall program. He enjoys developing visions and concepts for projects and is extremely adept at scoping project tasks and estimating costs.

Rick’s management style allows younger engineers to mature and take on responsibility at a pace that suits each individual. His work ethic ensures that projects are always completed with integrity and the utmost attention to quality.

When not working, Rick likes to golf with his wife and soulmate, Laura.
